GRCA001-01 Prospectus Operation of Accommodations, Facilities and Services Grand Canyon National Park South Rim Release Date: April 4, 2001 ERRATA Number 2 Date:July 21, 2001 A number of errors have been discovered in the prospectus. They are as follows: 1. Proposal Package, page 21, Subfactor B4(c). The first sentence of the second paragraph requests, among other things, a statement of retained earnings. The formats to be used, which follow in subfactor B4(d), include a cash flow statement instead of a statement of retained earnings. To clarify, the NPS requests that the offeror provide a cash flow statement. The first sentence of the second paragraph of Subfactor B4(c) should read: Provide projected estimates of the revenues and expenses of the concession business in the form of annual pro forma income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements for each year of the concession contract's term. 2. Contract Table of Contents: A "Section 10(d)" is listed. There is no Section 10(d) in the Draft Contract. This reference in the table of contents will be removed in the final contract. 3. Contract Section 17(d) The first sentence of this section will be changed to add the following underlined language: No compensation is due the Concessioner from the Director or a successor concessioner for the Concessioner's personal property used in operations under this CONTRACT, except as expressly provided herein. 4. Operating Plan, Section IV.B.1: The date for the submission of rate requests for food/beverage is changed from February 1st to January 2nd. 5. Operating Plan, Section IV.D. The second paragraph is changed to read: Schedules used in recent seasons are included as Appendix 7 to this Prospectus. 6. Operating Plan, Section V.A.4.a. Group meeting use should be defined as ten or more guest rooms. This section's first line will be changed to read: The Concessioner shall limit convention and group meeting use (ten or more guest rooms) of 7. Operating Plan, Section V.E.4. Section V.E.4.e. will be added, and will say: Railway Express transportation service between the South Rim and Williams to support one-way train riders may be conducted at the option of the concessioner. 8. Exhibit D-4, Improvements Assigned during Term of Contract. The reference under the heading will be changed from Section 6(a)(1)(ii) to Section 8(a)1(ii) of the Contract. 9. Section V.B.18 The sentence following is unclear: "The Concessioner will cooperate with the NPS in permitting the installation of environmental monitoring equipment and communication equipment Concession facilities at no cost to the NPS." (sic) The sentence will be clarified to state: "The Concessioner will cooperate with the NPS in permitting the NPS to install environmental monitoring equipment and communication equipment in the Concession Facilities at no cost to the NPS for use of the location."
