Description

The work of this contract includes the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, supervision and performance of all operations required to complete the removal and disposal of existing 60 kW natural gas emergency generator, replace with a fully installed new 30 kW natural gas emergency generator with weatherproof enclosure and furnish and install 20A/1P 120V circuits to 2 elevator rooms to power "lower and lockout" modules. Provide one "lower and lockout" module; one module existing in Building 22, Charlestown Navy Yard. This acquisition is subject to P.L. 100-656, Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program, and is open to all concerns regardless of size. The estimated price range for this project is between $25,000 -- $100,000. Performance time is 60 calendar days from notice to proceed. Contractors are urged to make a site visit to ascertain work conditions. Solicitation packages will be available on or after August 17, 2001.
