Description

This solicitation contains provisions for the following services to be provided at the Navy and Marine Corps Reserve Center, New Haven, CT: 1. Snow plowing of paved surfaces, walkways, stairs and landings for up to 8 storms without regard to severity in the fixed price portion 2. Indefinite Quantity line items for storm by category to be used if more than 8 storms occur during the season. 3. Grounds maintenance with mowing intervals determined by growth rate. Maintain grass height between 2 4 inches mid April through mid November. 4. Spring cleanup to include paved surface sweeping in spring in mid April or earlier if grass is growing early 5. Fall cleanup last week of November first week of December 6. Pruning scheduled for twice per growing season 7. Additional Labor / Material line items for improvements or unforeseen eventualities. This solicitation contains a Base Period and two One-Year Options to be executed by the Government if found to be in its best interest. The options may be exercised without notice. FAR Clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services will be included in this solicitation. This is a small business set-aside. The NAICS Code is 561730, Landscaping Services and has a Small Business Standard of $5 million. The RFQ, Request For Quote, will be available on the Internet, only. Per the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFAR) has been amended to require all contractors to register in the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database.
