Description

The Army requires a contract for the rehabilitation of approximately 3 acre effluent sand filter beds located at Ft. Stewart, GA. The work includes, but is not necessarily restricted to, the following: removal of existing sand media, support aggregate, and stockpiling of these materials; removal and disposal of underdrain piping; preparation of subgrade; modification of existing ports in existing distribution channels; furnishing and installation of new impermeable membrane liner and appurtenances; furnishing and installation of new underdrain piping, including connections to existing manholes and new manholes; furnishing and installation of new sand media and support aggregate; replacement of existing electric motor actuators on existing influent valves; and, electrical work to reconnect new actuators. The magnitude of this project is between $1M and $5M. This project is solicited on an unrestricted basis under NAICS/SIC 23493/1629. The small business size standard is $27.5M. Performance is expected to be completed within 210 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. A bid guarantee is required. Dates and times for site visits will be set forth in the solicitation. All interested parties are highly encouraged to attend. Offerors are also reminded of the mandatory requirement for registration in CCR.
