Description: The Army requires a contract to construct a new, used oil, truck offloading unit at the Central Energy Plant on Ft. Stewart, GA. The work includes, but is not necessarily restricted to, the following: removal of existing concrete pump pad, used oil transfer pump, piping and appurtenances, and electrical items; removal of contaminated soil in area of existing pump pad and offloading area; construction of new concrete pump pad and concrete containment area, drain piping and connection to existing drain system; furnishing and installation of new underground double containment used oil piping system to existing used oil storage tanks; furnishing and installation of new underground double containment used oil supply and return piping system from used oil storage tanks to Central Energy Plant building; furnishing and installation of two (2) new used oil pumps, strainers, piping and appurtenances; and, electrical work for new pumps and leak detection system. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. This project is solicited on an unrestricted basis under NAICS/SIC 23571/1771. The small business size standard is $11.5M. Performance is expected to be completed within 210 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. A site visit will be set forth in the solicitation.
