Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a firm fixed price order under the Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-00-G-0116 with McDonnell Douglas Corporation (MDC), A Wholly-Owned Subsidiary of the Boeing Company for the procurement of 19 kits for the modification of radar throttle and stick grips in support of AV-8B aircraft. Additionally, this order will contain the procurement of nonrecurring efforts, technical publications and data, and logistics support analysis in support of this engineering change proposal. This order will be issued on a sole source basis to MDC, the only source with the pre-requisite knowledge and experience in the design and development of the AV-8B aircraft.
