Description

The US Geological Survey requests proposals for 1Ea. Relative Gravimeter, Lacoste & Romberg Graviton-EG or Equal with these specifications, characteristics and capabilities: transportable in a sport utility vehicle; operational by a single technician; field deployable in minutes; operates in outdoor temperature conditions from -- 4 to 40 degrees C; footprint approximately 50 centimeters in diameter; capable of measuring the accelleration of gravity to an accuracy of +/- 5 microgal with 2 -- 5 minutes of data collection; capable of automated, servo-driven, physical self leveling; battery operated (self contained); with integrated data logger; with 32 Mb Flash RAM, expandable to 288 Mb; capable of real-time earth-tide correction; RS-232 output. AND 1Ea. Absolute Gravimeter, Micro-G Solutions Model A-10 or Equal with these specifications, characteristics and capabilities: transportable in a sport utility vehicle; operational by a single technician; field deployable in 2 hours; operats in outdoor temperature conditions from 40 to 100 degrees F; footprint of approximately 50 centimeters in diameter; capable of measuring the accelleration of gravity to an accuracy of +/- 5 microgal with 2 hours of data collection. The NAICS Code is 334516 with corresponding size standard of 500 employees. Offerors should indicate business size relative to the NAICS Code. FOB Tucson, AZ. Delivery by 180 days ARO. The Government contemplates a firm fixed-price contract.
