Description

The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command intends to procure Torque Cells From Lebow Products, c/o Vaughn Associates, Incorporated, 3313 S. Memorial Parkway #125, Huntsville, AL 35801. This requirement is for 36 each Torque Cell, 60 in. lb, Lebow Model 2133-124-5; 33 each Torque Cell, 20 ft. lb, Lebow Model 2133-124-20; 37 each Torque Cell, 150 ft. lb, Lebow Model 2133-125-100; 34 each Torque Cell, 500 ft. lb, Lebow Model 2133-126-100; 33 each Torque Cell, 1000 ft. lb, Lebow Model 2133-126-1000. The Lebow Torque Cell is a critical component of the Army National Guard (ANG) calibration program. The ANG calibration program, whenever possible, mirrors the calibration program of the U.S. Army Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment Activity (USATA). The USATA program provides the great majority of calibration support for measurement instrumentation, that is, the calibration standards used by the ANG in thier program. Only the Lebow equipment can meet the requirements for equipment standardization between the ANG and the USATA. Adequate description/techniques are not available for competitive procurement.
