Description

The purpose of this Sources Sought synopsis is to identify potential sources that are interested in responding to a future solicitation for efforts involving emerging navigation technologies with potential for applicability in the areas of sensors and systems, and air and shipboard Command, Control, Communication, Computers Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) system technologies. The NAICS code is 54133. The effort may include the following: Research and exploratory developmental efforts involving emerging navigation technologies with potential for applicability in the areas of sensors and systems, and air and shipboard C4ISR system technologies. Identification of requirements, program planning and execution necessary to implement emerging technologies (that is, to acquire, integrate, and test these technologies). Identification and implementation of laboratory enhancements required to evaluate these emerging technology advancements. Potential respondents are requested to submit an Information Statement not more than four (4) pages long that summarizes their experience relative to the following programs/technologies: a) GPS and Anti-Jam technologies b) GPS Modernization c) Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) d) Airborne and Shipboard Anti-Jam integration e) Interference Detection and Location f) GPS Constellation Simulators g) Hardware/Software Design and Prototyping h) Digital Signal Processing (DSP) i) Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) j) Analog/Digital Circuitry Design and Prototyping k) Receiver/Antenna Designs l) Modeling and Simulation m) Test Witnessing n) Signal Prototyping Systems o) Knowledge Based Solutions THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS ONLY AN EXPRESSION OF INTEREST. Future requirements and procurements are uncertain. The Government DOES NOT intend to award a contract on the basis of this announcement. All data received in response to this request for information and/or sources sought announcement that is marked or designated as corporate or proprietary information will be fully protected from release outside the government. The government will not recognize any costs associated with submission of information by interested parties. This is not a request for proposals and a solicitation is not available at this time.
