Description

This is a notice to award a Sole Source purchase order to Dr. Gary Ginsberg, a toxicologist for the State of Connecticut, Department of Public Health. He is recognized for his significant contributions in the field of dose adjustments for children. He has developed a database that illustrates the susceptibility differences between children and adults stemming from age-related pharmacokinetic factors. Dr Ginsberg has developed a unique understanding of child/adult differences and how they can be factored into environmental health risk assessment. The contractor will prepare an issue paper that will assist with the discussion of dose adjustments for children. This is a simplified acquisition of $10,000.00. Under the simplified acquisition procedures for other than full and open competitions authorized by FAR Part 6.302-1. This is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation for offers.
