Description

THIS PROCUREMENT IS BEING ISSUED AS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. THE SIC/NAICS CODE IS 1799/23599. THE SIZE STANDARD IS ANY CONCERN, INCLUDING ITS AFFILIATES, WITH AN AVERAGE ANNUAL SALES OR RECEIPTS FOR ITS PRECEDING THREE FISCAL YEARS NOT IN EXCESS OF $11.5 MILLION. All qualified responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered. All requests for copies of the solicitation must be in writing and mailed to the Contracting Officer at the above address. Faxed requests will not be honored. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to install a standard black PVC coated 6' high chain link fence along the property line of the VA Medical Center at 7305 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida. Work includes but is not limited to, demolition of existing fence, alteration, excavation, grading and necessary removal of existing vegetation. In addition, provide services required to prepare certified drawings that will indicate a survey of the property line and all of the existing easements within the property, all in accordance with specifications and drawings. Magnitude of this project is between $100,000 -- $250,000. Completion time shall be sixty (60) calendar days from when the Notice to Proceed is signed. Issue date is anticipated to be on or about 8/16/01. Closing date shall be on or about 9/17/01. A pre-bid conference and site visit has been scheduled for 8/24/01 at 1:00pm in Room 2C-260. This is the only site visit that will be held. Please call the Contracting Officer at 561-882-6508 to register for pre-bid conference and site visit. A bid guarantee, payment and performance bond will be required. The project will be awarded as a firm fixed price construction contract.
