Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F13ACB11791200 is issued as a request for quote using simplified acquisition procedures. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-27. It is the contractors responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is 421850 with a small business size standard of 100 employees. Contractor shall provide the following items: 1) Fire Gear Proximity Coat with 2 pockets semi-below H&L closure, Must meet NFPA 1976 Standards; a) size 50 qty- 4; b) size 58 qty- 1; c) size 46 qty- 4; d) size 54 qty- 1; 2) Fire Gear Proximity pants with 2 pockets semi-below H&L closure and field replaceable knee system, must meet NFPA 1976 Standards; a) size 42 qty- 3; b) size 38 qty- 4; c) size 46 qty- 6; 3) Chieftain 7.0 oz Advance Structural Coat with 2 pockets semi-below H&L closure; Must meet NFPA 1971, 2000 edition standards; a) size 46 qty- 12; b) size 50 qty- 14; c) size 54 qty- 1; d) size 58 qty- 1; 4) Chieftain 7.0 oz Advance Structural Pants with 2 pockets semi-below H&L closure and field replaceable knee system, Must meet NFPA 1971, 2000 edition standards; a) size 38 qty- 12; b) size 42 qty- 8; c) size 46 qty- 10; 5) Servus ARFF Proximity Boots, Must meet NFPA 1971, 2000 edition standards; a) size 8 qty- 1; b) size 8.5 qty- 1; c) size 9 qty- 5; d) size 9.5 qty- 2; e) size 10 qty- 3; f) size 10.5 qty- 4; g) size 11 qty- 7; h) size 12 qty- 3; i) size 14 qty- 1; 6) Glove, Structural Fire fighting, three layer construction, leather outer shell, moisture barrier, thermal liner, wristlet type with 4in knitted cuff, Must meet NFPA 1972, 2000 edition standards; a) size medium qty- 3; b) size large qty- 12; c) size extra-large qty- 17; 7) Hood, structural fire fighting, content P-84-40%, Polmide-60%, Lenzing FR, Must meet NFPA 1971, 2000 edition standards, not sized qty- 30; 8) ARFF Helmet, color yellow, with helmet cover, shroud, ear/neck, protector, shoulder drape and 6in gold coated face shield, Must meet current NFPA 1972 standards, not sized qty- 5; 9) Suspenders for turnout and proximity pants, not sized qty- 20. Include the following with quote: warranty information, and justification that each item meets the required standards listed above. FOB Destination, Maxwell AFB, AL. Desired delivery shall be 60 days or less after receipt of award. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated by reference and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Item (Oct 2000). Submit signed and dated quotes on company letterhead. Award will be made to the lowest price quote which meets the ability to conform to the solicitation.
