Description

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Computer Technology Division, Eastern and Western Area Commands Branch (DTS41) intends to issue a sole source contract to Pitney Bowes docSense, 750 Warrenville Road, Suite 300, Lisle IL 60532-3618 for the purchase of Finalist, Mailers Choice and Finalist for CICS software maintenance renewal. This upgrade will be delivered to DISA/DMC Mechanicsburg, Building 309, 5450 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg PA 17055 and DECC Columbus, 3990 E. Broad Street, Bldg. 12, Columbus OH 43216. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed products must indicate their interest by the closing date of this announcement, 31 Jul 2001. Any party interested in receiving a copy of the solicitation shall provide written notice to the Contracting Office. Datafax requests to 618-229-9177 are acceptable. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations/proposals received in response to this notice, since this synopsis cannot be considered a Request for Quotations/Proposals. The resultant contract will be firm, fixed price. All responses from responsible sources will be considered for evaluating the award of the contract.
