Description

The Air Force is requesting quotations for the construction of signs for Base Housing at Hanscom AFB, MA. The scope of this project consists of the furnishing all services, labor, materials, tools, equipment, and transportation necessary to perform all operations in connection with construction of housing signs. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $75,000. The period of performance for this project will be 30 working days. The Request for Quotation, specifications, and drawings for this project will ONLY be available at Internet address: http://www.herbb.hanscom.af.mil. These items will not be mailed, and telephone requests will not be honored. All interested parties MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database in order to receive a solicitation or award. If you submit a quote without being registered, it will be deemed unacceptable and not eligible for award. Applications for CCR registration may be obtained or completed at the Internet address: http://www.ccr2000.com/handbook.htm Quotes may be mailed, sent via Federal Express, UPS, or hand-carried, etc., to: ESC/PKOC, Attn: Jack Flaherty, 20 Schilling Circle, Bldg. 1305 3rd Floor, Hanscom AFB, MA 01731-2800. Tentatively, the RFQ will be released on or about 13 Aug 01, site visit on 20 Aug 01, at 10:00 am, and quotes due by 12:00 noon EST on 27 Aug 01. Funds are not currently available for this requirement. Offerors are advised that the cost of any response to, or other cost incurred as a result of, this solicitation is at the offeror's own risk. Unless funds are made available for this requirement, no contract will be awarded. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after receipt of quotations, with no obligation to the offeror by the Government.
