Description

Upgrade HVAC and Electrical Systems at the U.S. Custom House, Portland, ME. The scope of work consists of removing boilers, chillers, hot and cold chilled water pumps, air-cooled condenser, fans and decommissioning fuel oil tank, fuel oil sludge removal; providing well drilling and well casing, heat pump systems including geothermal wells, associated piping and pumps; replacing fan coil units; providing new temperature controls; and providing ventilation throughout the building. Estimated construction cost range between $500,000 and $1,000,000. NAICS Code for this project is 235110 (SIC 1711). This project is open to both large and small business under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration program. IFB will be available via the internet onlyat http://www.eps.gov. Estimated posting date is on or about 8/17/01. It is the bidders responsibility to monitor this site (or register for notices) for the release of the IFB and any amendments and downloading copies.
