Description

Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision required to renovate the 4th Floor, East Wing in Bldg #1 at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center into a Sleep Laboratory and Hoptel Suite. The contractor should be qualified in hospital renovations. The project includes asbestos and lead abatement, demolition, architectural, electrical work, and mechanical work -- will include plumbing and HVAC improvements. All work shall be done in strict accordance with the drawings and specifications provided. The NAICS (North American Industry Classification System)Code for this procurement is 233320. Completion time for this project is 220 calendar days. Liquidation damages will be accessed for late completion. The estimated cost range is between $1,000,000. -- $5,000,000. The tentative issue date for bid packages is 8-10-01. The tentative bid opening date is 9-11-01. All requests for bid packages must be submitted in writing. A non-refundable fee of $75.00 will be required prior to receiving a bid package. Make checks payable to the VA medical Center Agent Cashier. Telephone requests will not be accepted.
