Description

CANISTER, CARBON, EMISSION. NSN 4330-01-152-2376. Solicitation is for a long term, indefinite quantity contract consisting of one base year with four possible option years. Estimated annual demand is 13,400. This NSN is currently on a long term contract, SP075000D7786, with Northeast Filter & Equipment (3V554.) The contract maximum for that contract is 14,070 each. However, since that contract was established another NSN, 4330-00-072-6700, was cancelled and replaced by this NSN 4330-01-152-2376. The demands are expected to roll over. Therefore the annual demand quantity of 13,400 each may increase. As a result, the Government desires to establish another long term contract upon which to order any requirements exceeding 14,070 each. Destinations are unknown for delivery. However, they will be CONUS. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. See Note 26. This solicitation is an RFP or IFB and will be available on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/Rfp on its issue date of August 22, 2001. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. The Small Business size standard is 750 employees. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 4 years. This is an unrestricted acquisition. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
