Description

The Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center is anticipating the purchase of the Alaska Tent system from Alaska Industrial Sources, INC. under GSA contract GS-07F-0084K. Our base has been designated as a national emergency mobile medical training site which will require the same tents for training as deploying medical units. The purpose of this purchase is to convert our existing temper tent system to the newly authorized Alaska Tent System which will be used by all air medical units. All interested parties must be able to show that the tents offered will comply with the exact same configuration as identified in Air Force table of allowance 429. Compliance with 10 USC 2241, Berry Amendment is mandatory. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
