Description

Work consists of furnishing all parts, labor, materials equipment, supplies, services, and supervision necessary to build a 1800 square foot explosive ordinance disposal facility at Travis AFB, CA 94535-2632. The principal items of work shall include, but are not limited to the following: New 1800 SF wood-framed building administrative office facility complete with new site utilities, landscaping and parking area, all work required by the plans and specifications shall be accomplished by the contractor even though minor items required may not be specifically mentioned in the above listing. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP), Price Performance Trade-Off (PPTO) solicitation. There will be no public bid opening. Award will be made based upon the "Best Value" to the Government in accordance with FAR 15. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror. The Magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The proposed contract herein is restricted to all qualified HUBZone small business concerns. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package, on or about 13 Aug 01 via Electronic Posting System (EPS) which can be accessed at www.eps.gov. The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation or planholders list. Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation package and planholders list will not be honored. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring the EPS site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. Prospective offerors shall submit their company, address, including your zip plus four number, telephone number, fax number, e-mail address, and point of contact to SSgt Terry G. Harrelson via e-mail at terry.harrelson@travis.af.mil for inclusion on the official bidders mailing list. NOTE: the response date cited above is an estimate, not an actual. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/proposal costs.
