Description

This acquisition is for 250-C20JN engines for the TH-67 helicopter and pressurized containers in support of the Government of Tiawan. The items are as follows: Part Number: 23006900, NOUN: Engine, 250-C20JN, QTY: 5 ea, Part Number: 6870352, NOUN: Container, Pressurized, QTY: 5 ea; The items are to be shipped to Fritz Company, Inc, 771 Watson Center Road, Carson CA 90745-4100 no later than 30 November 2001. Authority and Justification for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The proposed procurement is for supplies which cannot be obtained through full and open competition because only one responsible source is capable of satisfying the Agency's requirements, FAR 6.302-1. Rolls Royce Corporation, Indianapolis, Indiana 46206-0420 is the only known source capable of performing this work in the time frame required to satisfy the minimum needs. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency. See Numbered Note(s): 22
