Description
Synopsis Sealed bids from all business concerns will be accepted for Project PRA-NACC 11(2), 11(3). The project consists of the rehabilitation of Ohio Drive in East Potomac Park with limits at East Basin Drive; reconstruction of Buckeye Drive; rehabilitation of the I-395 North Ramp; reconstruction of the Golf Course Parking Area and the Park Police Parking Area. The work includes removal of miscellaneous roadway items, curb and gutter, and asphalt pavement; roadway excavation and embankment; placement of earthwork geotextile and geogrids and paving geotextile; placement of aggregate base; pavement milling; asphalt paving; pavement patching; installation of drainage culverts and devices, concrete curb and gutter, an irrigation system, chain link fencing, landscaping, lighting, traffic control, and other miscellaneous work. The project is expected to fall within the price range of $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. Bid documents are scheduled to be issued on or about August 15, 2001. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. DOT's Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOT's ShortTerm Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $500,000 with interest at the prime rate.
