Description

Furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment, superintendence, transportation and disposal to renovate the communication/observation tower at Agassiz National Wildlife Refuge near Middle River, Minnesota. Work includes replacement of the wood stair treads and landing platforms with anti-skid, galvanized steel grating, removal of guard rail mesh, new guard rail system, replacement or reinforcement of certain structural members, bolts checked for tighness, replacement of deterioriated and rusty bolts and painting portions of the tower. The estimated magnitude of the construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. The project is part of the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program and is not set-aside exclusively for small business firms.
