Description

SOLICITATION NOTICE: The work includes labor, supervision, materials, and equipment for construction of asphalt pavements, including demolition/removal, clearing/grubbing, excavation, filling, backfilling, asphalt concrete, seal coat, fog seal, pavement markings, reinforcement fabric, and incidental related work, at Naval Air Station, Whidbey Island, Oak Harbor, WA. This requirement is for a total potential period of 36 months or $1.5 million, whichever comes first. The North American Industry Classification System is 23411. The related small business size standard is $27.5 million. This procurement is open to all business concerns. The solicitation will be provided for download free of charge via the Internet World Wide Web at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil/, on or prior to 10 August 2001. Amendments and notices will be posted on the web site http://esol.navfac.navy.mil/for downloading. This will be the only method of distributing the solicitation. It is the offeror's responsibility to check the web site periodically for any amendments and notices to this solicitation. A site visit has been scheduled for Wednesday, 22 August 2001. Interested parties shall meet at 10:00 a.m. at the ROICC office, Building 103, on The Naval Air Station Whidbey. Please call Linda Gruber at (360) 257 6504 to confirm attendance. If a large business concern, a subcontracting plan shall be submitted in accordance with FAR 52.219-9 SMALL BUSINESS SUBCONTRACTING PLAN (OCT 2000) ALTERNATE I (OCT 2000).
