Description

The Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence (HQ AFCEE), Brooks AFB TX, is seeking up to six qualified firms to p rovide Constructability Review and Construction Services for Design-Build-Plus (DB+) contracts. The anticipated contracts w ill be Firm, Fixed-Price (FFP) and include AF Commercial or Military Family Housing (MFH) facilities; T&M capability will be included for possible Constructability effort that cannot be handled on an FFP basis. Awards will be Best Value using a 2- phase source selection IAW FAR Parts 36 & 15. Selected firms will be expected to work closely with AFCEE installation proje ct managers and air base administrative contracting officers. Projects will be at Air Force CONUS locations, Alaska, and Ha waii. Consideration will be given to prime firms, joint ventures, partnerships, and their subcontractors or consultants who have the resources and capability to provide nationwide Constructability Review and MFH Construction Services. Contract Fair Opportunities and Ordering Procedures clauses will be used to compe te task orders against the resultant contract award(ees). Each selected contractor will be guaranteed a minimum award amoun ting to $10,000.00 during the contract life. Terms of the contract(s) include a five year ordering period and an eight year (maximum) period of performance.
