Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife invites bid on the Sachuest Point Visitors Center in Middletown, Rhode Island. The project consists of renovation of the existing building and includes the following: 1) Demolition within the interior of the existing 5,000 sf building including roof, walls, ceilings, concrete floor, heating system, electrical and miscellaneous structures; 2) modifications to the existing foundation and construction of new entrances and small building addition, new metal roof and wooden shingle siding, new windows and doors and interior partitions, new HVAC system, new electrical and plumbing throughout, site improvements including paving and landscaping and incidental related work. The project also includes the construction of a 2,000 sf accessory building for miscellaneous storage. The accessory building will be bid as Additive #1. Construction is scheduled to begin in the Fall of 2001. The bid package will be issued o/a August 14, 2001. This is an unrestricted procurement and is open to all business sizes.
