Description

Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision required to renovate the 2nd floor south wing in bldg. #1 at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center. Contractor should be qualified in hospital renovation to minimize the impact on the day to day operations of the hospital. The project includes asbestos and lead abatement, demolition, architectural, mechanical and electrical work, etc. All work shall be done in accordance with the drawings and specifications provided. The NAICS(North American Industry Classification System)Code is 233320. Completion time for this procurement is 220 calendar days, the estimated cost range is between $1,000,000 -- $5,000,000. The tentative issue date for bid packages is 8/7/01, the bid opening date is 9/7/01. All requests for bid packages must be sibmitted in along with a non-refundable check in the amount of $25.00 made payable to the VA Medical Center-Agent Cashier. This procurement is not se-aside for small business only. It is covered under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. This procurement is issued in accordance with the Small Business Participation Program and includes a 10% price evaluation adjustment for small disadvantage businesses. There are a limited number of packages available and will be issued on a first come basis.
