Description

Naval Air Warfare Center (Aircraft Division) Patuxent River, MD, Code 4.3.2 has a requirement to purchase various parts for the two F//A-18E/F flight control computes (FCC) configured with flight test connectors for use in the Hardware-in-the-Loop test bench at the Manned Flight Simulator. The parts needed for this project are two basic computers with part number 111E9359G101. These computers must be modified with two configured Rev L chassis, elec and its required configured connectors with part number 111E9374G3. (One Rev L chassis, elec on each computer.) In addition, the two computers must also be modified to fit two motherboards with part numbers 111E9382G3 and 111E9383G3. (One motherboard on each computer.) This is a notice of intent to request a proposal from and negotiate with BAE systems control, INC., 600 Main Street, Johnson City, NY 13790-1889,on a sole source basis. BAE Systems control Inc, has been identified as the only responsible source capable of meeting the government's requirements. It is anticipated that a Firm Fixed Price contract will be awarded to BAE Systems Control Inc. for the purchase of the parts specified above. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. (Interested parties may identify their interest and submit technical information and a technical capability statement in response to this notice. Responses shall be considered by the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Contracts.) Responses without a return address, mailing address, and company telephone number will not be recognized. Proprietary data in the responses will be protected where so designated. Note: Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DOD activity.
