Description

The MEDCOM Contracting Center is proposing to award a contract, with a base and 4 one-year option periods, for Emergency Ambulance Service for the William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC), Ft. Bliss, in El Paso, TX. The area of responsibility will include areas within the Ft. Bliss military reservation and a 60-mile radius from the flag pole at WBAMC. An extension of the 60-mile radius may be necessary. The Government will provide adequate office space, storage and parking space, all vehicles, with Government licenses and ID badges, communication equipment, linen/laundry services for government-owned linen, maintenance and service for all Government furnished property (GFP), special immunizations and biologies in the event of unusual risk situations, applicable Government regulations and forms for use in this contract, computers and software, and in-service training on new techniques on a space available basis only. Contractor shall provide all personnel, uniforms, administration support, and supervision, and all other items not GFP, that will be necessary to perform the requirements of this contract. This will be a 100% small business set-aside. See Note 1.
