Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announce- ment constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number N68836-01-T-0224 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) and for reference purposes only. The solicitation document and incorp- orated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This solicitation is issued on a unrestricted basis, SIC Code 3594, NAICS Code 421830. Naval Weapons Station Charleston, South Carolina, requires a replacement jockey pump manufactured by Floway. Unit to consist of (1) (2) stage 10XKL product lube bowl assembly (zincless bronze clip-on basket strainer)(bowls and impellers made op zincless bronze), 15' 1x4 product lubicated flanged column assembly (column pipe made of 316SS); (1) 4x10 type "A" product lube discharge head assembly 250# FL (high presure packing box) (epoxy coat ID & OD of the discharge head); (1) 20HP motor, G.E. or equal (3/60/460 volt, VHS, SRC, WP-1, 1770 rpm, 1.15 S.F.). DUPL to 89-02603/04 vertical turbine pump, 100 GPM @ 246.0 TDH 1770 RPM, O.A.L. 17' -- 6", pumpage: sea water, sp gr 1.03, temperature: ambient. Quantity of (1) each to be delivered to Receiving Officer, FISC JAX CHASN DET, 2450 Red Bank Road, Goose Creek, SC 29445-8605.
