Description

Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Center for Coastal Studies (CCS) for the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale Marine Sanctuary (Sanctuary). Purpose of proposed contract is to on-site provide support services for the planning and development research and monitoring programs/projects. Work will also include web site support, development and maintenance of a database for monitoring whale incidents in Hawaii, technical and scientific writing and editing, and on-site communication planning, education and outreach efforts on research related topics. The CCS researches techniques relating to management and protection of marine ecosystems and endangered species mainly relating to marine mammals.
