Description

Soda Butte Campground reconstruction on the Gardiner Ranger District, Gallatin National Forest, Park County, Montana. Project includes removal of the existing picnic tables, fire rings, concrete bollards, pump house, redwood water storage tank, and six vault toilets. Construction of graveled tent pads, graveled living spaces, and new pullouts or parking spurs; installation of new concrete wheelstops, picnic tables, fire rings and unit markers. Construction of a new water system consisting of 2,400 feet of 1-1/2 inch PE water line, campground hydrants, valve boxes, and one precast concrete pump house with 300 feet of buried raceway for the electrical service entrance. The work also includes the installation of four Government-furnished precast concrete single vault toilet buildings and associated concrete walkways. Work is estimated to begin June 15, 2002; Contract time: September 15, 2002; approximate issue date of 8/24/2001; no pre-bid meeting scheduled; estimated price range $100,000-$250,000.
