Description

The Flathead National Forest will be advertising a Request for Proposals for the Sheppard Griffin Road Decommissioning on the Tally Lake Ranger District, Flathead County, Montana. Project consists of reclamation of approximately 18 miles on several roads located in the Sheppard Griffin area. Items of work include construction of road closure berms, waterbars, removal and disposal of metal culverts, stream restoration, seeding, fertilizing and straw mulching. Additionally, erosion control blankets are required at each culvert removal and stream restoration site. Issue date, approximately August 13, 2001. Contract time, complete by September 15, 2002. Notice to Proceed is estimated to be issued approximately October 1, 2001. The Government price estimate range is between $100,000 and $250,000.
