Description

The work to be performed consists of furnishing all, labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct the following items of work at the Pine Ridge Hospital, Pine Ridge SD. The work consists of the replacement of furnaces and electric baseboard heaters in 30 staff quarters units with new closed loop ground source heat pump systems. The Base Bid will be for heat pump installation in 24 of the quarters units with Optional Bid items 1-6 for 1 additional unit each. In the performance of this work some asbestos abatement will be encountered in all quarter units. All quarter units are located at the old hospital site. The plans and specifications use International System of Units (SI) metric equivalent measurements. Project completion time is estimated to be 180 days after notice to proceed. Estimated construction cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The proposed contract listed herein is unrestricted per the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
