Description

Contractor shall provide all material, labor, equipment and supervision required to perform work for Project #550-01-101, Replace Windows in Buildings 64 & 72 at the Illiana Health Care System Danville Medical Center, Danville, Illinois as required by the contract drawings and specifications. Work includes, but is not limited to, abatement of asbestos containing glazing compound and caulking present on all existing window units, lead-based paint removal from window units, soffit and fascia to be repaired/replaced, removal and proper disposal of existing window units, installation of new window units, ceiling repairs and miscellaneous painting. The construction cost range for this procurement is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System code is 235510. The solicitation documents will be available after August 24, 2001. All requests for bid packages shall be in writing addressed to the Contracting Officer and accompanied by a $25.00 non-refundable bid fee made payable to Department of Veterans Affairs. There will be a pre-bid conference held at the Danville Medical Center in Danville, Illinois on September 11, 2001 at 10:00 a.m.(Central Standard Time) in Building 102, Room 116E.
