Description

Transmitter Assembly for replacement of Transmitter, NSN 5820-01-090-9304, Part Number 11784700. End Item: Target Holding Mechanism/Target Gunnery (THM/TG). System: Remoted Target System (RETS). The Transmitter will be used as a portable device to control the THM/TG by transmitting digital code to Receiver, part number 11824801, MIL-R-70834, and 12974102 to cause the Receiver to perform its output function of sending hardwire commands to the THM/TG of raise target, lower target, or fire a simulator. The requirement can be satisfied by two transmitters, if together they provide coverage of the entire frequency spectrum and they individually meet all other requirements of the Perfomance Description, Transmitter Assembly. A 5 year IDIQ type contract is anticipated. Estimated quantities are 5 each per year. This acquisition is competitive commercial. Estimated solicitation issue date is 30 Aug 01.
