- Description
- The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) anticipates release of Final Request for Proposal (RFP) DAAH01-01-R-0109, for Information Technology Support Services (ITSS), in or around the first week of September 2001. This final RFP supersedes the previously issued draft ITSS solicitation bearing the same number and title. The requirement is to provide automation, data/telecommunications, visual information, and records management support to the AMCOM Corporate Information Center (CIC) and its customers including AMCOM organizations, DoD PMs/PEOs, other DoD organizations, and Redstone Arsenal tenant activities. Support requirements shall include operations support for computers, servers, networks, peripheral devices, and analog and digital telecommunication systems; network convergence; maintaining software products; systems analysis, systems engineering, and programming analysis for the development, implementation and sustainment of various IT initiatives; implementation for integrated data/telecommunications networks; application lifecycle management; electronic meeting system support; desktop and studio video teleconferencing; imaging support; software engineering; process improvement initiatives; and electronic commerce. The Government anticipates the requirement to be a ten-year, CPFF level of effort (LOE) (including all option years) to provide approximately 1.3 million man-hours of annual support. The ITSS effort shall be acquired on a full and open competition basis, with no foreign participation allowed. The requirement will contain mandatory small business minimum participation requirements (including subsets for SDB, Hubzone, and Veteran-Owned concerns). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes to this anticipated acquisition are 541511 (Custom Computer Programming Services), 541512 (Computer Systems Design Services), 541513 (Computer Facilities Management Services), and 541519 (Other Computer Related Services). Each of these codes has an $18 million (average annual receipts) size standard. Potential offerors are advised that the final solicitation will be issued in electronic format only via the ITSS Website. The website can be accessed via the Redstone Arsenal homepage at http://www.redstone.army.mil/. From the homepage, select the icon DOING BUSINESS WITH AMCOM. Follow the Quick Start Instructions which leads to the New Acquisition Center (AC) website at https://wwwproc.redstone.army.mil/acquisition/. From the AC website, select IT SUPPORT SERVICES ACQUISITION then select FINAL RFP. It is emphasized that hardcopy solicitations will not be issued and that it is the responsibility of potential offerors to access the ITSS website on a regular basis for the availability of the Final RFP and any subsequent amendments.
