Description

This is a notice to award a sole source purchase order to Supply America of Aurora, Ohio. Supply America is the sole entity that is authorized to contract with all 400 centers of the Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Manufacturing Extension Program (MEP). The NIST MEP centers are a national organization providing manufacturing technical assistance anywhere in the nation to SME manufacturers. In order to meet the goals and objectives to "green" GM/Saturn's supply chain, a process mapping tool shall be specifically designed to identify the environmental management linkage between Saturn and it's suppliers. The success of the GM/Saturn Environmental Supply Chain Management project is contigent on having access to all 400 NIST MEP centers in which Supply America has obtained. This is a simplified acquisition of $100,000.00. Under the simplified acquisition procedures for other than full and open competititons authorized by FAR Part 6.302-1.
