Description

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS), through the ADP Acquisitions Branch, Program Support Center (PSC) intends to award a twelve-month simplified acquisition. The purpose of the simplified acquisition is to obtain information and analysis of existing state mental health plans, interview state and local experts regarding needs and challenges related to disaster mental health planning, and to develop guidance regarding state and local community disaster mental health plans based on an "all hazards" approach. Activities will be accomplished in four stages: 1) collection and analysis of existing plans; 2) structured interviews with selected state and local experts; 3) focus group meeting; and 4) development of guidance and recommendations. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) document will be available approximately fifteen (15) days after issuance of this notice.
