Description

The Administration on Aging (AoA), through the ADP Acquisitions Branch, Program Support Center (PSC), DHHS, intends to award Modification Number 6 to Contract Number 231-98-0010 currently being performed by the University of Kansas. The modification will extend current contract evaluation activities for the Alzheimer's Disease Demonstration Grants to States Program to: 1)support the continuation of statutorily required program evaluation activities and collection and monitoring the program data from 25 Alzheimer's Disease Demonstration Grant Program grantees, and 2)provide a product evaluation report as required by statute. Closing date is September 14, 2001. This proposed modification for which the Government intends to solicit only one source is under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested concerns may identify their interest and submit a capability statement which demonstrates the ability to provide the services required. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available; therefore, requests for such document will be considered invalid responses. A determination by the Government not to compete this modification is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no affirmative responses are received within thirty (30) days from the date of this synopsis, the Contracting Officer will proceed with award of the modification to the University of Kansas.
