Description

This pre-solicitation notice amends the previous notice (50N307) last submitted to the CBDNet on May 29, 2001. The United States Department of Commerce intends to obtain contractor provided services for trash and debris removal from the Herbert C. Hoover Building, 1401 Constitution Avenue, Washington, DC 20230. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, tools, supplies, equipment and labor necessary to pull, dump and remove trash debris. The Contractor shall also be responsible for maintenance of government-owned and contractor provided compactors. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 56211. The duration of the contract is November 1, 2001 through October 31, 2002 with four one-year option periods. The Government reserves the right to exercise the options. The solicitation, notice and all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posting System (Fed Biz Opps) site at www.fedbizopps.gov/. No paper copies will be issued. No telephone, facsimile, or written requests will be accepted. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents.
