Description

The Federal Correctional Institution (FCI), located in Greenville Illinois, 62246, has a requirement for a qualified offeror to provide radiology services for the inmate population. Services to include: ultrasound services, EEG services, IVP services, UGI services, and ACBE services to include the interpretation of procedures and written reports to document the findings of the service performed. This contract calls for the contractor to provide technicians to support the requested services as well as board certified specialists to interpret the results. The services call for a X-ray Technician to provide a six-hour session once weekly for a total of 52 sessions per year. Other services are estimated between 3 -- 6 services per year. Interpretations of routines x-rays are estimated at 2,400 reads per year. Qualified offerors will possess a current board certification and be licensed to practice in one of the 50 U.S. states. Technicians will also be certified in their respective specialities. The government intends to award a base period effective approximately 10/01/2001- 9/30/2001 with an additional four (4) option periods. The work to be performed inside of a penal institution, security requirements will apply and include, but are not limited to a urinalysis test and background check.
