Description

The U.S. Dept. of Commerce/NOAA/NOS/OCRM/Estuarine Reserves Division intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Urban Harbors Institute/University of Massachusetts to establish a baseline of information on environmental indicators and performance measures for the National Estuarine Research Reserve System (NERRS).This effort dovetails with a current plan to update and revise the NERRS program strategy and action planning processes, and the results of this assessment will provide valuable information and data to inform these parallel discussions. The contractor will develop assessment instruments, a framework for the inventory, conduct phone interviews, analyze data, and prepare a final report that details findings and includes collected data points and the inventory in a user-friendly format.
