Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 14, Sealed Bidding, intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) to furnish Title Commitments, Intermediate Endorsement, Curative, Closing & Escrow Services and Final Title Policies for various National Wildlife Refuges located in various counties throughout the State of Arkansas. The FWS intends to award an Indefinite Quantity contract as a result of this solicitation. The issue date of the IFB will be on/or about September 1, 2001, with a tentative closing date of October 1, 2001. The contract performance period will be January 1, 2001 through December 31, 2002, with two one-year options and two Limited Option periods. The FWS is currently using Electronic Commerce (EC) to issue solicitations and resulting awards. You may view this IFB at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. In order to submit a bid on-line, you must register at the same website. The User ID is your Dun and Bradstreet number, which can be obtained free of charge at 1-800-390-6633, and the password is your company's Tax ID number. After registration, you will be able to view posted solicitations, awards and submit bids on-line. All prospective bidders with access to the Internet and an E-mail address can receive electronic notification of awards. Bidders responding to this notice must be on the U.S. Attorney's List of Approved Title Companies ("The List"), and have offices located within the State of Arkansas. Only written, facsimile or e-mail request for solicitation packages will be accepted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 524127 is applicable. The size standard is $5.0 million. This acquisition is unrestricted and all qualified sources may respond. This acquisition is a 100% set-aside for small business (See Numbered Note 1).*****
