Description

The Cryptologic Systems Group (CPSG) intends to award a Fixed Price Contract for the procurement of 1 each Hardware Control CCA, NSN: 5811-ND-013-674J, P/N: 003-116120-02, 1 each Channel Selector Card-E, NSN: 5811-ND-013-672J, P/N: 003-110466-07, and 1 each Chassis Maintenance Kit, NSN: 5811-ND-013-997J, P/N: 028-117400-01 to the OEM, Applied Signal Technology, Inc., 400 West California Ave., Sunnyvale CA 94086. Required Delivery: 30 days after issuance of the contract. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source IAW 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one (1) responsible source. The Government intends to make an award by September 2001. No technical data/drawings/Technical Orders are available. If a firm believes it is capable of fulfilling the Government's requirement, it may identify its interest and capability to the Contract Specialist within fifteen (15) days of this publication. Those interest firms must indicate whether they are a large, small, small-disadvantaged, 8(a), or women owned business and whether they are U.S. or foreign owned. See Note 22. An Acquisition Ombudsman, Colonel Joseph B. Magnone, Director, Commander's Staff, has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during proposal development. You should only contact the Ombudsman with issues or problems you cannot satisfactorily resolve with the program manager and/or contracting officer. The Ombudsman role is to hear concerns, issues, and recommendations and communicate these to the appropriate government personnel. The Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality if desired.
