Description

This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The invitation for bid document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-27. This is a 100% set-aside for small business procurement. The Standard Industrial Code is "339999". The small business size is 500 employees. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Austin Automation Center (AAC), Austin, Texas (AAC) intends to procure the following promotional item, Quantity-87,500 each Mirror, side opening with a one color dark blue imprint "HERE'S WHO'LL PROMOTE AND DEVELOP ME!". Item shall be a Tagmaster DP-683 Solo Reflection Mirror, white color or equal brand that will have the same physical characteristics and size. Physical size is 3 5/16" x 2 1/8" with a copy area of 2 " x 1 '. Imprint shall be silk screened with size and font type to be provided by the VA point of contact-John McQuaid, 440-526-3030 x6652. A pre-production sample is required and shall be delivered to John McQuaid, VAMC-EES, 1000 Brecksville Road, Bldg 21, Brecksville, OH 44141. Delivery shall be within 30 days after award. Delivery Address is: EES-VAMC, 1000 Brecksville Road, Bldg 21, Brecksville, OH 44141. Responses shall be in writing and can be e-mailed to the attention of the contracting officer or faxed to 512/326-6028. The following FAR clauses apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial with the addendum FAR 52.216-1 Type of Contract- "The Government contemplates award of a firm fixed price single award contract from this solicitation"; FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial; FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items with addendum FAR 52-219-6 Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside; FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal, and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order-Commercial Items. All offerors will be required to provide a completed copy of the provision FAR 52-212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items and with addendum, VAAR 852.219-70 Veteran Owned Small Business. The Standard Commercial Warranty is required. Offers must be submitted within 5 working days from the publication of this notice and should be addressed to the attention of the Contracting Officer.
