Description

The Government intends to negotiate a commercial (FAR Part 12) sole source contract in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, for the maintenance of the Alcon Surgical Phaco-Emulsifier, Model 20k. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for other than full and open competition is being prepared in support of this acquisition. The solicitation is to be issued on or about August 31, 2001, with offers due on or about September 21, 2001.
