Description

The proposed contract action is for a modified H10-66 for which the 180th Fighter Wing [Government] intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Therefore, this publication serves as a notice of intent to procure,on a sole source basis, with David Clark Co, INC for a special modified H10-66 headset. David Clark CO, INC. will modify these headsets at the manufacturing plant. This headset modification is a one-time occurance negotiated with David Clark Co, Inc Federal Sales department. The Defense Supply Center located in Columbus, Ohio was contacted since David Clark currently has a contract to sell H10-66s thorugh DLA. The item manager, Mr. Dan Niedert, DSCC-S9E approved the local contracting office to procure this modified version for the 180th Fighter Wing. This notice may represent the only official notice. This is a simplified acquisition. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Questions can be directed to SMSgt Cindy Martin, 419-868-4142.
