Description

Provide lodging for eligible veterans in need of treatment at the Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center, Phoenix, AZ. Contractor shall also furnish transportation from the lodging accommodation to the VA Medical Center and the Phoenix Memorial Hospital and return as needed. Eligible hotels/motels shall be located within a five (5) radius of the VA Medical Center, located at 650 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ. Quotes shall be accepted only from offerors who are financially responsible. All responsible offerors may submit an offer and will be considered. Hotel/motel accommodations must meet all Federal, State, Local Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Codes and be compliant with the American Disabilities Act. Term of the contract is anticipated as one (1) base year plus the option to renew for four (4) additional option years, beginning on October 1, 2001. Solicitation is issued as a Commercial Item Format per FAR Part 13.5, and will be available on or about August 27, 2001. This is a total 100% small business set-aside, NAICSC code 721110 applies.
