- Description
- The General Services Administration, Special Services Division, will be relocating a laboratory and approximately 40 employees for the United States Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration Special Testing and Research Laboratory located at 3650 Concord Parkway, Suite 200, Chantilly, Virginia to 22624 Dulles Summit Court, Sterling, Virginia. To accommodate the relocation of DEA science labs, the move activity is anticipated to be Monday through Friday and weekend phases. The move involves a great deal of glassware, instruments, microscopes and computer equipment in labs. The contractor will provide the necessary manpower, transportation, equipment, a dedicated Project Manager, Supervisior and related moving services of boxed and crated contents, furniture, computers and shelving units. The move is tentatively schedule to begin on or about January 15, 2002. This procurement is totally set-aside for small businesses. The requirement is being conducted as a Sealed Bid. Type of contract is Firm-Fixed Price. The procurement NAICS Codes is 484110 and the Bus. Size is $18.5 million. Prospective bidders interested in attending the property inspection/walk-through must submit to this office the names of representatives (only two per firm), company name, telepone and fax numbers, date of birth, social security numbers and driver license numbers by the closed of business on September 13, 2001. Bidders that fail to particpate in the property inspection/walk-through will not be considered for award. The solicitation will be issued on or about September 14, 2001.
