Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation N62799-01-T-0001 is issued as a Request for Quotation, utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 12 and 13. The following provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular #97-27. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAIC) is 484210. Small business size standard is $18.5M. This is a small business set-aside. The contractor shall provide moving services to include the packing and unpacking of technical manuals, disassembling and reassembling library shelving, moving approximately 10-12 safes, and miscellaneous equipment from the Technical Library located in the NAVSEA Supervisor of Shipbuilding office in Everett, WA and relocating them to Building 2200 on the Everett Naval Station, and other incidental related work. Work shall be accomplished during the period of 7 -- 11 Jan 2002. A site visit has been scheduled for 12:30 PM on 22 Aug 01. Contact Karen W. The Government will award a contract resulting from this Request for Quote to the offeror whose offer provides the lowest total price. Payment for this acquisition will be made by a Government Purchase Card. The following FAR/DFARS clauses are incorporated by reference or full text: 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.247-34, 52.212-4, 52.212-5 (52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, and 52.222-37 apply), 252.204-7004, 52.225-11, 252.225-7017, 52.216-1 (FFP), 5252.213-9401 and 5252.213-9402. Quotes may be faxed to Karen W. Carter at (360) 476-0138 or mailed to: Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Puget Sound; Attn: Karen W. Carter, 2802 Wetmore Ave., Suite 500, Everett WA 98201-3518. The quote must include the solicitation number and a completed Representations and Certifications, as required in FAR 52.212-3 must also be attached. Quotes are due no later than 3:00 PM on 29 Aug 01. Anticipated award date is 14 September 01.
